INCLUSIVE ARM PUSH
The Arm Push is an ideal activity for a low intensity arm and upper body stretch. It will also gently stretch out the lower back.
Benefits
- Warm up and stretch upper body muscles and arms.
- Ability to gently stretch lower back by keeping your arms straight and using your lower back to move.
Instructions
- Stretch and Warm-up for 5 minutes prior to any exercise.
- Lean forward and grasp handles (You may need to sit forwards in your seat.)
- Pull the handle towards your body using only your arms.
- Push the handles back to its resting position.
- Keep your head up and your back straight.
- For a lower back stretch, keep arms straight and use your lower back to push/pull the handle.
- Stretch appropriate muscles to ensure recovery to resting position and prevent soreness.
Age Range: 12 Yrs old and up (Children should be supervised by an adult).
