INCLUSIVE SHOULDER ROTATION
Shoulder Rotation is an ideal activity to stretch and warm up the shoulder muscles to prepare for other upper body exercises.
Benefits
- Build flexibility in shoulder and increase range of motion.
- Ability to warm up and stretch shoulders before and after workout.
Instructions
- Stretch and Warm-up for 5 minutes prior to any exercise.
- Face frame and grasp handles.
- Rotate Spinner at a varied pace to loosen all muscles in the arm and shoulder.
- Lengthen time of activity at a steady pace to help tone the muscles.
- Use correct posture with shoulders back, head facing forwards, chin up and tighten your abdominal muscles.
- Remember to breathe at a smooth rate.
- Stretch appropriate muscles to ensure recovery to resting position and prevent soreness.
Age Range: 12 Yrs old and up (Children should be supervised by an adult).
