INCLUSIVE SHOULDER ROTATION

Shoulder Rotation is an ideal activity to stretch and warm up the shoulder muscles to prepare for other upper body exercises.

Benefits

  • Build flexibility in shoulder and increase range of motion.
  • Ability to warm up and stretch shoulders before and after workout.

Instructions

  1. Stretch and Warm-up for 5 minutes prior to any exercise.
  2. Face frame and grasp handles.
  3. Rotate Spinner at a varied pace to loosen all muscles in the arm and shoulder.
  4. Lengthen time of activity at a steady pace to help tone the muscles.
  5. Use correct posture with shoulders back, head facing forwards, chin up and tighten your abdominal muscles.
  6. Remember to breathe at a smooth rate.
  7. Stretch appropriate muscles to ensure recovery to resting position and prevent soreness.

Age Range: 12 Yrs old and up (Children should be supervised by an adult).
