LEG STRETCH

The Leg Stretch is an ideal activity to stretch and warm up the hamstrings to perform various lower body exercises

Benefits

Instructions

  1. Use this activity to stretch and warm up prior to any exercise.
  2. Stand facing frame with fee-shoulder width apart.
  3. Keeping one leg planted on ground and raise other leg to rest calf on stretching bar. Lean upper body over until desired tension of stretch is reached. Hold stretch for 20-30 seconds.
  4. Place hand on support rail if needed for balance. Then switch legs and repeat.
  5. Remember to breath at a smooth rate.
  6. Stretch appropriate muscles to ensure recovery to resting position and prevent soreness.
