When considering inclusive play, we often think of children who are identified of needing help. However this is not the case, Inclusive play is for children who never really have the chance to engage in play with others.
The true message from “Inclusive Play” is fun for everyone. We all know that play is critical to growing children. Good quality play with a greater stimulation enhances a child’s well-being, happiness and development.
Through the benefit of inclusive play children get the sense of being equal, improve communication and social skill, and work on their ability to think and problem solve and enhance their fine and gross motor skill. Safe: Address Safety standards and provides developmental opportunities and challenges
Active: Supports various degrees of physical and social participation whilst minimizing fatigue
Comfort: Is usable for all individuals with sensory needs, divers body size & types, varying mobility and motor control.
Playgrounds have an important role in a child’s life, it is here where children feel accepted by their peers and more significantly determine their self-worth and personal identity.
